Is it ok if your not active during your freshman year, does the colleges care?

i am not active in my freshman year. I am not in any clubs, sports, etc.. The only thing i am doing is volunteering at the library. i am getting 4.0 on my grades. Does the colleges care?

Not that much, just be sure to be getting really good grades and getting some community service done. Though next year you have to be active, and dont worry being active is actually fun. trust me. im a class representative, i dance, do soccer, and take a foreign language, and still find time to party with my friends.
